The Dark Confederacy initially started as a StarCraft Clan and has grown into something much better... Please indulge in the History of The Dark Confederacy...
SGA: Sometime back in 1998 or 1999, Our original name was _SGA (Supreme Gamers Association). It was founded by the same two members that founded The Dark Confederacy, Link and Seraphin. The clan started growing very large very quickly, but even though we had a great website, plently of members, Seraphin had to start his work, and Link went back to school. The clan slowly started drifting away... Slowly but surely... SGA was nothing more than a useless tag.
BSC: After the death of Supreme Gamers Association, Seraphin and Link once again tried to create a clan, called -BSC (Back Stabbing Clan). That clan died right away due to a lot of backstabbing.
SD: Ok, this is where things started getting a bit fun. Clan Superior Darkness actually was a clan for a long while on Battle.net. It took off like a rocket with a record high of over 300 members. Seraphin and Link had plently of time to play, recruit, and train new members. It was a Diablo, Starcraft, Broodwar, and Diablo2 Clan. During the middle life of the clan, Seraphin was involved in a major car accident that kicked him offline for about 2 months. Link tried to keep the clan alive... but it still died...
DC: By far the best name the two have chosen yet. The Dark Confederacy destroyed all other clans made by these two leaders, but again life took its toll on the leaders and with the help of 3 select members who wanted nothing more than power, [DC] was destroyed. Countless attempts were tried over and over again trying to bring this clan back to life... Seraphin would try.. then get busy with life.. then Link would try.. and get busy with life, but now... The 2 leaders have once again united.. they have declaired this as their final name for all of time. THE DARK CONFEDERACY... a name that shall not be forgotten. Link and Seraphin now dedicate all their spare time to the survival of DC never letting any members take away their clan. The Dark Confederacy was born Junuarary 23rd, 2004 and its death was December 19th, 2006 and now... [DC] is rising out of the ashes like a new born pheonix again ready to take over Battle.net and reign supreme above all other clans.
That Winter of 2007:
The Dark Confederacys Leaders have united with another influential leader, Termato he is the spark that ignites the everlasting flame of [DC] he keeps us burning during the cold battles for power. Not long after Seraphin[DC] went MIA Ruda[DC] was moved up the Ranks to be an Immortal. 3 Immortals ran the clan for some good time being active as they could, but then history made a turn for The Dark Confederacy. Ruda & Termato Resigned due to drama and they left Link alone.. in the cold fighting for the survival of [DC]. He is still fighting who will leave him and who will stay? Only Time will tell.
Spring of 2008:
Something changed within Link he had gone darker than ever before. He was alone running what was left of [DC] after many members abandoned him. In this dark time Link decided it would be most beneficial to bring a council into power and help him make decisions until he could find another influential leader. Link pondered and finally decided on 1 veterine member and 1 New member who had proven their worth: Dark_Fenix, and Gojira. These are Links small council who possess potential leadership skills although they all need to learn much they have shown Link great devotion and loyalty during these hard times. So now with the wind in their face and the sun to their backs these members have abonded the light and entered eternal darkness they have become The Council of The Dark Confederacy.
Early 2009: The Dark Confederacy was struggleing trying to stay alive, the bitter cold was crushing the morale of [DC]. When suddenly Seraphin[DC] made a miraculous return! He was backing up Link everyway possible and giving him the extra support he needed to excel with leading the clan, but one dreary evening the two leaders had a fight. Seraphin challenged Links morality, so they suited in armor and lashed out at eachother, swords and sheilds glistening in the moonlight the two leaders fought. This broke their bond they thought they would have forever. Seraphin was banished to the darkest depths never to return and Link became the supreme leader of [DC]. Link was lost in feelings and confused on what steps would be taken next, confused and lost Link once again lead The Dark Confederacy with blood on his sword and a smile on his face.
Mid-Year of 2009:
Link decided that it was time to declair a new Immortal to stand by his side. The Dark Confederacys very own Council member Gojira fit the role exceedingly well. Link raised his sword to Gojira and tapped from one shoulder to the other promoting him to Immortal. The Dark Confederacy now has 2 leaders and they fight back to back taking on battle.net to this very day. They command not an army, but a brotherhood...a family. The Dark Confederacy is here to make history and its still in the making. Who will be the next to make the history of The Dark Confederacy? Will it be you? There is only one way to find out...
2010 A New Year:
Once again Link found himself leading the clan alone… he realized it was most definitely him that was the problem. The thoughts kept fighting in his head back and forth, if it was indeed Link how could he have so many followers that stand behind him 100%? Link began to realize that he was a loner.. and leader at heart. So Link decided that he would not appoint another Immortal for quite awhile. Time began to not seem relative and Link once again pulled his sword and raised it to his members, thanking them for standing behind him through these dark ages. Spring 2010:
After a long brutal disclosure of feelings, fights.. and regrets.. Immortal Link and Gojira decided that their differences were petty and that their brotherhood was stronger than anything. They decided to once again lead The Dark Confederacy together. Brothers can fight right? It happens... The Dark Confederacy now has its best leaders back in action and The Dark Confederacy is growing in ranks... who will be the next to join.. will it be you??
Summer 2010:
The Dark Confederacy again fell desmall to the process of life. Gojira lost internet and computer and had to move away from his brethren. Out of the abyss through the darkness peared Drizzt offering his services as always to Link. Link giving a brotherly handshake united with Drizzt and now they remain as the Immortals of [DC]. Together with their newly appointed council they plan to dominate StarCraft 2 and reign supreme. Will you be the one to help them complete this task?
